Art Romp

What to expect:
· One-on-one instructional time with Teesha and Tracy
· Create where we create in our home studio, seattle loft, and all over Seattle. 
· Experience the creative life we live everyday and be a part of our family for a week.
· Explore what we love about Seattle and experience it through our eyes.
· Enough time to get in-depth with your artwork (the equivalent of 5 workshop days).
· Borrow Tracy’s lomo camera’s and develop the film by the next day for your journal.
· Delicious meals compiled by two foodies.
· A small group of 6-8 to form lasting friendships with.

Instruction in:
(pick a couple to concentrate on or dabble in a bunch of stuff)
· Hand forged journals & jewelry (metal, leather, wood, stones, resin) with Tracy
· Journaling styles by both Teesha and Tracy (mixed media, drawing, pens, stenciling, stamp carving, etc.)
· Painting and collage with Teesha
· Lomography, digital & light painting photography with Tracy
· Art sewing by hand or machine with Teesha
· Artistamps (faux postage) with both Tracy and Teesha (we have a perforator)
· Zine making with Teesha (we have a color copier)
· Watercolor self portraits with Tiphoni (a mini lesson)
· Celtic knot drawings with Trista (a mini lesson)

We will visit:
· Natural wonders
· Cool bookstores
· Unique art supply stores
· Quirky gift shops & junk shops
· Photo shoot at the Space Needle and EMP building
· Pike Place market
· Other Artists’ studio’s (Carla Sonheim & possibly more)
· cool journaling hang-outs

Dining will include:
· Our favorite restaurants
· Delicious home cooked meals
· A campfire & Smore’s (weather permitting)
· A chocolate tour (theo’s)
· Donna’s famous waffles (tracy’s mom who lives next door)
· Special snacks and treats
· An optional movie night (quirky art flicks) with hot buttered popcorn

The rest of the details:
· Transportation will be provided to/from the airport and to each of our destinations for the group.
· It starts on a Sunday late afternoon.  It ends on a Sunday morning.
· About half of the breakfasts are included.  All 7 dinners are included.  4 of the 6 lunches are included.  Most snacks are included.  We can make arrangements for vegetarians.
· Some supplies are included.  Extra materials will be available for sale if needed.  There may be a small supply list depending on what you want to work on.  Film & developing is not included.
· Lodging is not included.  We will provide the name of a local hotel in Issaquah...we are in the process of securing a block with reduced rates. You will have to book your own room.  We will pick the group up and drop them off from this hotel.  We cannot make transportation arrangements outside of this hotel but you are welcome to stay somewhere else and figure out your own transportation to go back and forth to our home.   
· The cost is $1650 if you pay by check ($1730 if by credit card or paypal).  A deposit of $500 is required to hold your spot.  The remainder is due 2 months prior to the retreat.  You may cancel up to 45 days prior for a full refund minus a $25 cancel fee.  No refunds within the 45 days prior window, however you may transfer your registration to someone else.  We will keep a waiting list as well should anyone need to withdraw.  We can not & do not differentiate between cancellation reasons, so we adopt a firm no-exceptions cancel policy across the board.
