I thought it was awesome both ways! You ARE the BEST!! And Tiff's painting is awesome as well!! Please be sure to show hers when she finalizes it!! Jennifer K
The white shape now moves from one side of canvas to the other. And repeating the circle shape around the already center of attention eye just makes it 'feel' right. Wish I could chat painting with you in person. missy from the bayou
Ah oh.....i like the first one better......Guess i'm just weird. I love the colors better and everything...the second one IMO has too much white and it lost something....I think you tried too hard to turn it into an owl since you named it...?? Anyway i love all your art so i like the second one too! Do you ever wish you'd just left well enough alone?? I do that some times don't know when to stop. Hugs! deb
it's nice to know that not even you are always completely satisfied with your work. thank you for showing us that constantly striving can lead us where we want to go.
I do like them both but the finshed one, to me anyway, is more charming. Such lovely work, as always :)
ReplyDeleteYou're crazy! But I understand. I have hated all my work this week until the end!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou can't have too much color. It's kind of like icing on a cupcake - you can never have enough buttercream! Food for the soul! Beautiful! Hugs, Terri
ReplyDeleteI like the second one too! The white creates wonderful negative space to let the other colors and shapes sing.
ReplyDeletewow. i love them both!
ReplyDeleteI like them both too!
ReplyDeleteI love both of them !!
ReplyDeleteYou're brave to work on it some more... the 'second turn around' it became much better (in my opinion) Much more balanced in colour and shape.
ReplyDeleteI'm biased. I love everything you do.
ReplyDeletewow , yes beautiful...

You're right...the second works much better! Very cool!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen in doubt, white it out! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love the beak you ended up with and all the white you added. Very owlish to me. Wonderful change, although, I thought it was beautiful before.
ReplyDeleteI keep flipping back and forth and like both...so loud and fun!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you added the white, gives my eye a place to rest. Wonderful work - I just discovered you! Looking forward to seeing more!
