something fun.

Went to the Bellevue Arts Fair last weekend and bought this necklace from www.eyecandybychelsea.com . The image is actually a piece of tin from an old lunchbox.  Was going to buy the Burt (burt and ernie) necklace and then she brought this one out and that was that.  I'm still trying to decide if I want to remove the darker chain and replace it with sterling silver or leave as is.  it's been bugging me.

  1. maybe when the rest of the necklace darkens a bit with wear, the darker part you are speaking of will not be so focal.

  2. COOKIE!! He's my fav-his woggly eyes always made me laugh and who doesn't love a big furry blue monster who loves cookies??! He's one of the best parts of my childhood. God bless Jim Henson wherever he is.

Love it! I'm with you-I would want to change out the dark part too.

  6. Love it! I would add a couple darkened trinkets through the holes on the bottom to compliment the darker chain or replace it.

  11. I actually like the darker chain, BUT if you don't want to change it, take a bit of 0000 steel wood to it... it'll knock it back a couple of shades. Then you can change it if you don't like it.

  12. Cool necklace, I would have gone for that one as well! You are right the darker piece of chain brings the picture out of balance, but on the other side it makes it more interesting...
