We happened to catch Theo Ellsworth being interviewed at Stumptown Comics Fest in Portland last weekend. He is definitely coming up in the comic book world and I am SO extremely happy about that!
These are some journal pages I worked on one night in the portland hotel bar with Tracy and Andrew Dyrdahl while in an altered state (6 shots of tequila). They still aren't done (of course!)
it goes without saying they are completely stupendous....but I love the little corner where you are tracking the number of your shots!! Who says our journals aren't multipurpose???
ReplyDeleteOh Teesha...your ART is GORGEOUS ma'am!!!!
ReplyDeletetotally cool...and under the influence as well...
ReplyDeleteYay tequila! I hope it was top shelf! Pretty nice pieces.
ReplyDeleteKim
SIX? Six Shots??? Oh my!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Tequila seems to work great with journaling!
ReplyDeleteFab journal pages, that tequila certainly 'does the trick' Teesha !
ReplyDeleteLove your artpages and so much fun to create together.
ReplyDeleteDang wo-man! You have more tallent in an altered state than most states have in a good day!
ReplyDeleteLove them.
ReplyDeleteAnd your shot tally hash marks.:-)
Your altered state brings forth much magic!!! Love those pages!
ReplyDeletegreat journal pages. LOOOOOVE the brown page with all the white.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous art. Can't believe that can be done and drink tequila or as I like to call it (to kill ya) at the same time. Might have to invest in a bottle of the stuff. It tastes great chilled!
ReplyDeleteWOW -- if I thought 6 shots of tequilla would do this for me I'd be on my way!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for introducing me to theo's work...I've been following his blog for a few months now and am always delighted to see it pop up in my blogline...
ReplyDeleteAnd my hat is off to anyone who can even hold a pen after 6 shots of tequila, much less create such gorgeous pages!
BEAUTIFUL! your art is amazing!
ReplyDeleteTeesha,
ReplyDeleteThere is no one like you when it comes to journaling. This spread is just too cool.
Smiles, Andra
You make me feel like such a wimp~ ! ~ I can barely sit up straight after 2 beers, let alone sketch a blob..an' here you do these fabulous pages with 6 (!!) shots of taquila - Maybe I should try your approach an' see what happens ~ !! ~
ReplyDeleteLauri
Wow..I'm impressed!!! Maybe I should start drinking tequila!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new loft, it's amazing!! Also I really like the designs on the wording on your journal page "FEED YOUR VISUAL ADDICTION" Gorgeous! way to keep those journal pages coming Teesha(O:
ReplyDeletevery cool...in the words of Sammy Hagar... mas tequila!
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your creativity. And your 'upper room' loft is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThe globes in your photos are quite interesting. I would say they are friendly spirits being in the form of perfect spheres. I am in a few of the doll ning sites and have been making altered or Cloth and Clay dolls for only a year and a half, but, what the heck, I am hooked! And the members on these sites are so talented. My favorite is Jane Des Rosier's Cloth and Clay ning site.
Have a great day!
You live in a wonderful city!
Cheers
