2 more weeks of my life. Someone asked how big these are and what I use. The size of each space is a little smaller than 2-1/4" x 4". My book is 8x8 square. I would have planned it better so a drawing didn't end up in the gutter but the book was made and then I decided I was going to use it for some drawings. oh well...next year I'll plan it better. The pen I use is a faber castell pitt pen in superfine. I like it because it dries super quick so if there is pencil underneath the pen, I can erase without smudging.

Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing these drawings! They are just so darn cool!!
ReplyDeleteHey Teesha. I would love to be your assistant and chef, but I don't think I can sew you up a wardrobe. Love that drawing you did of you that is a a large close up with glasses (when you are out of sorts). It reminds me of Harriet the Spy. What do you want for your first meal?
ReplyDeleteGreat drawings. I'm with you on the custom wardrobe. I'm not sure what people are thinking these days.
ReplyDeleteFantastic....wish I could draw !!
ReplyDeleteI love looking at your great journaling pages....they inspire me!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Rochelle
I'm fascinated by these drawings, and very jealous that I can't draw like this! Have you ever thought of doing a whole book- a story? Or maybe you already have?
ReplyDeleteYou're so good Teesha, I stared at several of your journal pages last night. You really have a knack for color combos, can I have some of that!
ReplyDeletel LOVE all the work you do..colour or black and white. I am learning a lot from youxthank youxlynda
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the progression your drawing has made. Already compared to the earlier posts of your drawing diary (which I thought were amazing also), these ones are even more interesting and more detailed and getting better and better. It just reminds me of what Danny Gregory said in his book, paraphrasing -- you have to practice and practice, draw every day, even if you think it isn't any good, and then you WILL get better. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteTeesha,
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Could you tell us what how large the drawings are and what you use to draw with?
Hi Teesha. I found you because of Suzi Blu. She started talking about your beautifully made journals. Wonderful. I love your drawings. What a great way to journal. I draw in my journal too, but I like the way you make it sort of calendar-like.
ReplyDeleteI do so enjoy your journal pages ..it inspires me to get back to it..Yor drawings are such a pleasure to follow as they are graphically appealing..Thanks for the eye candy! heather
