I took a class from Lisa Kaus on the last day and by that time I was done having one more person tell me what to do...so I did my own thing. One of my BFF's who was taking the class with me (sarah greener) gave me the eyes so I HAD to use them. This piece isn't done yet.
These last 2 pictures were from a 2-day workshop with Misty Mawn. These are far from finished and measure 7x20. when done I will have a 20 panel journal. 
Looks like a super fun trip with great classes. I love these tall skinny pages! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteAn Esoteric teacher once told me that our current fears, behaviors, concerns, actions are often rooted in our past life. Your daughter's dots may have been a cellular memory of a previous time that was memorable to that part of the soul. If we honor these memories we move on with lifetime of lessons.

ReplyDeleteI really love how you stay true to who YOU are in your art. I too enjoy the livelier colors in life but sometimes after looking at everyone else I feel myself sway and change my style. Does this make sense... I'm probably babbling!
