journal schmournal

I played around on these pages recently at our journaling retreat up at the fort.

This page is an homage to my hands which have been hurting lately (arthritus and other things) so I am placing my intention for them to feel better.  so far it has been working.

  1. The title of your post totally got me -- my little brother used to speak that way all of the time. Also, LOVE your pages and hope your hands feel better soon!

  5. Teesa,

I have Psoriatic Arthritis and my hands lately have also been really bad. They are starting to bend permanently and deform and I worry how that will affect my artwork in the next few years. Using the scissors is becoming challenging already. So I feel for ya. But like you I choose to stay positive and deal with it as it comes. Hey, if I have to learn to cut and paste with my feet then so be it. Your artwork blows me away. I long to have a signature style like you have where people can take one look at my work and know it's mine. My biggest dream is to one day be able to take one of your classes. I'm kind of new to the whole artful journaling thing but loving it. Thank you for always sharing your talented gift.

  6. I check eagerly every day to see if you've posted new journaal pages, and I love all of these, but the pretty, happy hand really got my attention. And what a rsilient little hand it is. Two years ago I discovered that I too have degenerative arthriitis in my hands. Isn't that something? An artist with hurt hands, but I'm not about to let it slow me down. I wish I had YOUR hand hanging in my studio for inspiration. Is it, perhaps, available? I'd love to purchase it or trade with you.

    Love,
    Alberta
