I tried to make one of these as a kid....I pictured it like this but it ended up looking like a firewood pile ;) How awesome would it be to have one of these?! I might have nightmares about the giant "bird" coming back to its nest one day though......

Are you familiar with Patrick Dougherty's work? If not check this out, I think you will love it. The tree huts you see when you go to this link were constructed where I worked, it was amazing....
