I'm playing in a new size of journal (8-1/2 x 11) and a new format of covering the background with collage and then collaging over that. Not sure if I like it.
This page isn't done. Something is going in the box...an alter reality...but not sure yet how to convey that in pictures.
I think that visually, these are very lovely. Did the technique allow you to convey everything that you wanted to emotionally or is that partly what these journal entries are about? Only asking because you said that you're not sure how you feel about them.
yes yes yes!! Imagination IS real!! It's how we step ever so gently from what is solid around us to what our vision of what could be...I love "pre-tending"...which is tending to a thought before it's "real" yet. Isn't that what imagination is? Imagining another reality.....isn't that where manifestation begins?!?! :)
Great pages, this technique is different but they still have your stamp on them. 'Reality' to us is at present is realizing we can't compete with mother nature and ever hope to win.
Every time I visit your blog I see something incredible and new--you must be working all the time. I'm loving the collage over a collage-the colors are subtle and fresh looking....and it seems Etsy is a success for you too. wonderful work- Tammy
Very inspiring work. I actually liked the center of What is Reality empty. That way each viewer can see whatever she wants to see there. Thanks for all you do for the art tribe.
