So...if you've been reading my blog, I talked about having to do a journal super quick for a spur of the moment trip to portland...anyway...I ALWAYS pre-paint my pages but I didn't have time to do that this time so I journaled on them white....but I am totally LOVING it. I can use colored pencils and stuff without them competing with the background color. anyway...these are 3 of the pages from that journal. OH...and that little doodle on the last one was from Tracy. We were out journaling all day with our daughter tiffany and our artist friend, theo ellsworth and Theo was drawing something in Tracy's journal so I let him draw in mine while I was working on the other page. We got a TON of journaling in that day...the 4 of us. What Fun!
LOVE your journaling style - I have drooled over your pages for several years now! Question: When you take your journaling on the road, do you have a journaling kit that you take with you? If so, please share with us what's in it. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteall three of theser are amazing! i love what you're doing on "white" pages. i may have to give that a shot. are you going to be selling the top one in your etsy by chance? and do you mind if i pull and image and link back to you? glad to see you're frequent blog posts : ) your a daily source of inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love your journal page so much. You always have different / unique way to show to us. Thanks for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteGoing to have to try a white page... it sounds like fun. thanks for the inspiration. ~PJ Hornberger
ReplyDeleteAlthough my pages are not nearly the quality or beauty of yours (but they are mine so I am proud of them), I always leave a page or two here and there through my journals. Having a blank canvas is sometimes what we need, huh?
ReplyDeleteGreat pages! I so adore your style. YUM!!
Oh, and I'm with scaredymama...how do you take your journaling supplies on the road or "out" with you and journal away from home? Do share...pretty please???
Peace & Love,
~Barb~
Teesha, these are wonderful. It looks like they took a long time to create because of the intricate doodling.
ReplyDeleteYour pages are delightful. I too am wondering about your 'on the road' kit. We're planning a 6 week trip to Mexico and I know I can't just sit and read during down time. You must have stacks of clippings in envelopes or something. Please give me some ideas of supplies that travel well. I'm a new fan so if you've shared this in the past, I missed it. Thanks so much
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic. Who knew that white pages could be so colorful!
ReplyDeleteas always, love your pages.
ReplyDeletei read through the other comments hoping someone had a better answer to your question than i...
all i know to do to respond to commenters (in blogspot, i understand other blog hosts have better answers to this) is to follow their link to their blog and if they have an "email me" link click that, otherwise, i browse through their posts and comment on one that i am especially drawn to.
If you plan to make a print of the top page with the bird on it, please let me know as I would like that one for my studio
ReplyDeleteThanks!
