The lime green skein was something I had to get from Tracie Lampe for my magic blanket. It just needed to be included. and the bags below (made from recycled plastic bags) are samples of a class Tracie taught at the retreat...something everyone was absolutely flipping out over. The one with the heart was a gift (thanks Tracie) and the other one I just had to buy because I just had to have another one. I'm definitely pushing on her to teach that class again. http://www.lampeslumps.com

ReplyDeleteFun blanket!!
ReplyDeleteThe blanket is faboo!!! I just love it. I knit and have always dreamed of making a freeform knitted blanket. Seeing yours is inspiring for sure. I love all the photos you've been posting. The colors make me smile.
ReplyDeleteThis blanket is fabulous, love all the colour. I made one a few years ago by tearing coloured cotton and silk/satin fabrics into strips and knitted them up at random, letting the knots where I joined the pieces come through to the front, I even made a jumper like this too which was quite a talking point. My poor embarrassed children asked me please not to wear it when I picked them up from school. I still drag it out occasionally, they don't mind it, now they have their own children.
ReplyDeleteWow ! Wonderful! Ciao dall'Italia, elena.
