Last week we saw a new movie called The Fall. This journal page was inspired by the movie. It wasn't about Bees but there is a haunting image of a beautiful woman in the movie so it leaked out onto my journal page. Anyway...the movie was directed by the same guy who made The Cell (with Jennifer Lopez quite a few years ago) and has the same beauty/mystery. This new movie has the cutest and most brilliant young actor I have seen in a long time. It's worth seeing just to see this young actress but the visuals and the storyline make this an all around good use of a couple of hours.
I think I will have to make this one into a print.
I love it!

Thanks for the movie tip. I just checked out the trailer and it looks AMAZING!!! Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be playing in my area (Ft.Lauderdale). bummer. I will keep checking or end up renting it. Love your fantastic collage too...absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteLove your collage. Enigmatic.
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to see the movie, too, but I don't get out much for movies.
Lovely piece!

I agree this would be a great print. I have been obsessed with bees lately. I have been excited to see the fall. I am really glad you liked it because we seem to appreciate the same movies and music.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day
This is wonderful. I hope you do make it into a print!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the movie recommendation!
ReplyDeleteI've been inspired by your work ever since you and Tracy came to Houston awhile back for the quilt show.
I hope it's OK, but I blogged about using your rubber stamps to create a necklace for myself.

I cannot stop looking at all your pages; they are inspiring yet irreverent! Now, I'm obsessed with cutting and pasting. No, wait, I've always been obsessed with cutting and pasting. You've just provided a healthy outlet for my compulsion.

A mavelous journal page! I love how films do that to us... affect us in certain ways that come out in our dreams or artwork... some can be so powerful that way.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a wonderful weekend, Teesha!
All the best,
Holly
