no journalfest for awhile

since I have been getting quite a few inquiries into "journalfest", I thought I'd let everyone know that if it even happens it will probably be a very small retreat where Tracy and I will be teaching journal making and journal keeping. But it is still on the back burner and will have to stay there for a few months. I got into a pickle this summer and completely bit off more than I could chew and just finally had to say "NO MORE new projects for awhile!" I really want to devote my energy to artfest, artfiberfest and art & life. if I have time left over, I want to make art...I NEED to make art. I tend to let cats out of the bag while considering things and then I get myself into hot water when I change my mind. sorry about that. what you see is what you get, warts and all.

Hey Teesha! Totally understandable, but please know that whenever you do have any news concerning journalfest we are all eyes and ears!! It is definitely a retreat I would be very interested in no matter where it is held and no matter how small!! Your other projects keep you more than busy and you definitely need time for your own art ! I am taking my time going through the Artfest brochure--way too many awesome classes--I missed AF this year but am anxiously awaiting 2007! Thanks Teesha for all you do--you are amazing!!!

  3. Teesha dear, I want to be as accomplished as you are on your worst day! Journalfest will come together when (and if) you're ready for it, and you know we'll all be there. Cheers...Tammy

    Hi Teesha,

Been a long-time fan and have always kept my eyes/ears open for a journal fest/workshop. Saw this and my pulse went ballistic only to plummet back to normal - big sigh. But, I will not lose hope and will anxiously and patiently (as best I know how) wait for the day...

    Regards, Chi

This is Chi Mitchell again. If no journalfest is in the near future, have you ever considered doing a DVD? Not as good as the real thing but oh, think of the audience you'll reach!

    Regards,
    Chi Mitchell
