playing with my camera

It's the end of the workday and I just felt like logging onto my blog. Tracy and I celebrate 24 years of marriage on monday but I got my anniversary present early today...a new camera (nikon coolpix S6) so of course, I was running around trying out the macro mode. here's a few of the pics.

  3. Looks like you are really having fun with your new present:) Digital cameras rule!!!!!! i take mine everywhere i go! never missing a kodak moment. I have a question. after looking through your pics of your studio, i asked my hubby if he could build me some shelves like your for my rubber stamps. he looked at the pic and couldn't figure out how you have them hanging on the wall. would you mind giving me a hint? are they wood? i would really appreciate the help because mine give me a real storage problem. by the by, your studio is a dream come true! wow! Thanks, Linda

  13. Great Pix Teesha. I love the picture of the lady laughing.
I am looking for a new digital camera. Mine is 4 years old 2.0 mega pix and it cost me as much as an 5 or 6 mega pix does now. Tracy seems to know alot about camera's . Is this Nikon one of the best in the price range? How does it compare or what made him choose this one. I know your busy with Fiber Fest so I may not get an answer. It is always good to check out camera's with people who know what they are doing, before you buy a lemon.

    Teesha,

Congrats on 24 years. My husband and I just celebrated 25 years yesterday. Seems so odd -- everyone I've ever known who's been married 25 years is REALLY, REALLY old

  16. holy buckets, what a wonderful buggy-creature. I just got the courage to try needle-felting and seem to be making a lot of bug-like balls. the cats like them, so far I'm terrified that I will stab myself & haven't quite reached an I-like-this-thing stage. I gotta get a macro lens, lots of nice shots. So glad to see a blog from you, love Art&Life, stop everything to read every word/pic. Best wishes always....Pammyb
