I keep telling all the gals that I have bought these dolls from that I'd get a picture up here...so here is my living room wall. Darlene Veltman & daughter made the sock creatures. Lisa Bias & her significant other Gary made many of the others. LK Ludwig made the orange & red one standing by the ugly doll (bottom left corner of the first picture. and I know I have a few in there made by Keely Barham. This in no way represents my obsessive collection! LOL. I find myself staring at the wall of dolls instead of the tv half the time!

Clever girl! I love how you used frames on your wall of dolls. You know I was thinking how disappointed I would be if I saw that you had white walls in your house :D I'm glad to see they are nice and colorful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Seattle tour--I live vicariously through you city girls sometimes.

ReplyDeleteHi Teesha!
ReplyDeleteHow cool to see your wall of dolls, it's amazing!! I started making dolls about a month ago using the faces in my paintings (like the face of the little sitting person with the candle in the little 4" x 4" painting i made for you). The newest one is on my blog today if you want to see and there are 4 others in the archives. I've been asked to write an article on them that will be in Cloth Paper Scissors in October, I hope the next step for me will be teaching!
i love your works. props.
